After reading these three articles, I was surprised on how many jobs don't require a college degree. I always thought in today's society a college degree was necessary. In a way I think that can be a good thing because for some people college isn't for them. This gives them hope that they can still make a good living without going to college. I personally believe having a college degree is better because we can better our future and have more opportunities. In the one article it said some jobs don't require a degree but would prefer to have one. I feel if they prefer to have one they should make that a requirement because they will most likely hire someone who has the degree over another person who doesn't. Something else I found interesting is when I read about the four year degree turning into a six years. My brother actually did that and I see him still paying off school loans from classes and he has extra credits that were unnecessary. I personally don't think someone should skip out on college. If they have the opportunity to go to college to better their eduation and future they should take advantage of that.
